  Federal Grant Programs
 
Annually, Fulton County receives from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approximately $1.2 million under the HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (HOME). Under the Fulton County Urban Consortium, Fulton County is the lead entity responsible for the submittal of the HOME Program application and receipt and administration of the County’s and the City of Roswell’s HOME funds. These funds are utilized in Fulton County, outside of the city limits of Atlanta

HOME funds are appropriated to various activities according to the distribution of low- and very-low-income persons in Fulton County and the Board of Commissioners policies. The County will issue a NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABLITY (NOFA) once or twice a year. Distribution of HOME funds for affordable housing projects and programs is as follows: The Home-Ownership Assistance Program, Tenant-Based Rental Assistance, Housing Rehab - CHDC, Single/Multi-Family Housing - CHDC, Community Housing Development (CHDO), City of Roswell, HOME Administration, and Predatory Lending.
